Itinerary

Williams, Arizona
Check in at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel anytime after 3pm. The hotel is owned and operated by the Railway and features an indoor pool and spa, workout room, and Spenser's Lounge. Enjoy dinner at Railway's own Grand Depot Café Restaurant (adjacent to the hotel and depot) as you spend your evening in Williams. Take a stroll down Route 66, just two blocks south of the depot.

Williams to Grand Canyon
Start your day with a buffet style breakfast at Grand Depot Café Restaurant. Afterwards, it's time for an old-fashioned Wild West Shootout between the Cataract Creek Gang and the Marshal. As you depart Williams for the Grand Canyon, you'll travel the same 65-mile rail line that passengers first traversed more than a century ago. Enjoy the scenery as the elevation changes during the 2 hour and 15 minute trip.

Once you depart your train at the historic Grand Canyon Village you will board a comfortable motorcoach for a ninety minute tour of the South Rim. This tour is narrated, and travels an area that only buses can go.

Upon returning to the village, you will have approximately 25 hours to enjoy Grand Canyon National Park, where you’ll find many activities to choose from. Most of the buildings at the South Rim were built by the railroad, including the El Tovar Hotel  in 1905. Along the rim, you'll find historic sites, places to eat and shop, and of course, some of the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Enjoy the peacefulness of the evening and a Grand Canyon sunset.

Grand Canyon to Williams
Enjoy a morning of leisure and sightseeing at the South Rim, then relax in the comfort of the train as you head to Williams, for your night of the trip. Dinner is included at the Grand Depot Café.

Williams
Enjoy a final breakfast at Grand Depot Café, then it's off to your next destination. This concludes your Canyon Discovery adventure. .
